Alison Tibbits
National Project Manager of Fundraising Resources at the American Cancer Society.Alison came to the Society in 2004 and since then, she and her team have overseen the nationwide expansion of the Society’s signature endurance event program, DetermiNation, growing the program from $530K to $8.3M (gross) raised annually. Alison serves as a national liaison to all nationwide Determination programs and assists with strategy development, recruitment, fundraising and event implementation. Alison sparked her endurance event passion in 2003 while running the Chicago Marathon. Since then she remains involved in the sport competing in half-marathons, marathons, ½ Ironman, and Ironman distance triathlons. In her free time she enjoys coaching in the Chicagoland area where she resides and helping athletes of all levels and abilities reach their goals and cross their respective finish lines.
