High Impact Digital Marketing for Thon Fundraisers
Tuesday, March 1 from 9 am to 2 pm
Tapping into email, social media, and mobile communication to increase event participation and fundraising
More and more thon fundraisers are seeing the three channels of email, social media and mobile converge (e.g. participants read email and access social networks through their phones.) Digital marketing pioneer Donna Wilkins will share specific messaging, timing and integration techniques that can multiply the impact of your email, social media, and mobile communications. You’ll leave with practical knowledge, take home examples, sample marketing calendars, and a valuable peer network.
Workshop leader Donna Wilkins, president of Charity Dynamics, is a master at teaching people who are not “techies” to understand digital tools and leverage them to improve their organization’s fundraising performance.

Endurance Program Summit
Tuesday, March 1, 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
New individual endurance fundraising programs seem to crop up daily thanks to low barriers to entry. For this year’s summit, speakers representing three facets of this increasingly competitive field will lead us in exploring the strategies and tactics you need to succeed.
The Program Organizer: Steve Kendra of the Children’s Tumor Foundation will share insights he’s developed while building the foundation’s NF Endurance program.
The Race Producer: U.S. Road Sports – producer of the ING Miami Marathon, the Publix Georgia Marathon, the 13.1 Marathon Series and other events – is in the process of refining its charity program. Charity Program Director Dave Scott will share his company’s plans and solicit your input.
The Trainer: A solid race training program – virtual or in person -- can increase participant satisfaction, fundraising and renewals. Chris Twiggs of Galloway Training Programs will share dos and don’ts of creating a successful training program.
Plus RWRFC President David Hessekiel will share insights from our 2nd annual survey of endurance fundraising program directors.
