Fred's Team: Running Marathons to Fight Cancer

Fred's Team is a dynamic group of first-time and veteran marathon runners with the common goals of raising funds for critical cancer research and completing a marathon. In 2006, 750 runners competed in the ING New York City Marathon wearing the orange-and-purple Fred's Team uniform. In addition, Fred's Team runners have also competed in marathons around the country and throughout the world -- in Anchorage, Antarctica, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and San Francisco -- to benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
