Charity Navigator Special Events Study

In May 2007 Charity Navigator issued a study on the fundraising efficiency of special events -- everything from galas to endurance runs. Although it found that overall special events were fairly inefficient, it notes that some of the biggest players involved in athletic event fundraising produced some very efficient events.
